The Attack on the 2nd Amendment Continues

Once again, and not surprisingly, you are wrong, as usual, hun. The info came from here - one source.Unfortunately due to the filters here, there is a word in the link after bull so the link cannot work here.

Darling, take a looksie here...

Nor is Scandinavia as prosperous as Sanders makes claim. A study by Swedish group Timbro compared the GDP of various European Union nations to those of individual states in the United States. As stated by the study:

“If the EU were a part of the United States of America, would it belong to the richest or the poorest group of states?”

If Denmark were one of the US states, it would rank tenth among the poorest states for per capita GDP.
Sweden would be the seventh-poorest as a state of the US.

The study also took a look at private consumption. Once again, we find that the US as a whole outranks the entire EU, including those Scandinavian countries that are EU member nations. The study also found several other interesting facts: those classified as “low income” in the US live better than those classified as low income in the EU – including Denmark, Sweden and Finland. The US also ranked higher in average dwellingspace and domestic appliance ownership (clothes washers, dishwashers, radios, etc.).

Nothing is perfect. But if it makes guns safer it should be looked at.
How are todays guns unsafe? Modern firearms are amazingly safe and reliable...provided you follow the 4 basic firearms safety rules.

The 'gun' is no more safe with 'smart technology'. The user makes the tool safe. I'd argue that the technology would make you some degree less safe as mentioned before, it provides another link in the chain of failure when it is needed most. If you're worried about someone else obtaining your gun...then don't have a gun to be taken from you.

You can use the smart technology to make sure that when the gun fires, it is by a registered, law abiding gun owner.

Which is why no company is currently producing them gaining immediate monopolies on the billion dollar arms market that would be created to arm the state of California's police forces alone....

Can't figure out why those company's wouldn't want all they money. Must be that they are at heart evil because it couldn't possibly be money motivating their decision process. They'd make more doing what you want.

He can't rationalize parallels between constitutional rights if he pretends that the right to bare arms isn't one.

That is one of the first things I noticed about him pages and pages ago in this thread. There is a philosophical disconnect with regards to civil rights between people with his view point and people with ours. It is almost impossible to proceed with "reasonable discussions" because the starting points are completely opposed to one another.

You could...

One potential problem with this idea is that you'd likely just be creating a desire for aftermarket mods/products to remove that function. Modern cars are a good example. With the emissions and equipment laws that are in place everywhere, there is a massive market for parts and service that serve to bypass the emission standards in the pursuit of performance. You can set up testing, but the enthusiast with the dyno tuner and the manual boost controller is going to make power and burn the gas anyway...

If we're looking for control-ability, consistency of operation, and safety... simplicity is usually the best way to get there.

Excuse me Mr. Criminal, let me remove my glove so my gun will work...

A little devil's advocate here, if it came down to that you could argue why even carry concealed? Shouldn't you have your weapon out pointed at everyone all the time? Ya know, just in case?

I'm not convinced biometric anything is the answer, but c'mon now.

He's repeatedly demonstrated that he isn't a fan of most of our civil rights. Guns are just the thread titles.

Because In a gun fight even an 1/8 of a second counts.

Excuse me Mr. Boar, I know it's cold outside and I need to remove my glove so my gun will work so if you could not charge me that would be great.

Sure, but that misses the mark on readiness to the point of absurdity. Where do ya'll hang out each day that being the quickest of draws is gonna save your life?

This should be a Celebrity Deathmatch episode:

Former LE now Military Officer (Pilot) takes on Former Regional now Mainline Entitlement Generation (Pilot):

And GO!!

I've gotta tell you, if you've never met @Seggy, you have no idea how one sided that fight would be. He's "winners lose their arms" big.
