Funny you said that. My wife went to UGA and she is all the time saying the same thing. Anytime we see someone with Georgia attire on or anything on their cars, she is like "I bet they never even went there..." I don't get that worked up over it.

I actually don't know why I went there either, but I'm glad I did. Some of the best hiking/paddling/climbing on the east coast and a pretty active sports and entertainment program. It was a fun 4 years.

There was a very small part of the population that burned couches. Pretty much just the Sunnyside (what a terribly misnamed place) neighborhood did that. I think they've torn down most of it now too.

I don't remember the throwing batteries thing. I know there was a problem when playing PIT with tossing stuff at the players but I thought it was isolated.

I thought Pitt was a bad place to go. We were a tune up team for these guys so I really didn't understand the hostility. Then again we went to the other side of town and played Robert Morris. They were polar opposites and I actually gained two friends from that team.

Same with The OSU. I always joke about all of the Ohio State tattoos you see on people - then ask them when they went there and it's like "well I had a cousin that did." Personally, I don't get it. Like getting a USMC tattoo for my time spent playing Call of Duty.

Tech fans are pretty awful. But not as awful as Ohio State fans.
