Doug, you didn't hit that 1000 at Skyway? How short of it are you? Not that you're probably going anywhere, of course.

I was only captain about two months before I started ground school at Delta. Pretty short!

Most guys didn't leave Skyway until they had at least 1000 PIC turbine so they'd have options throughout their career, but I jumped ship at the first opportunity.

It's required for the job, but not the interview. BTW, talked to a pilot the other day, and they are changing the interview setup. It's still gonna be the one-on-one with a pilot and an HR person, but now they are going to put you in a cockpit and throw situations at you. Sounds like a sim ride to me, but not sure if it's an actual SIM.

Well they would still seriously consider you wouldn't they with all the SIC time you have right?

I mean Delta hired you with low PIC time and prolly high SIC time right?

Minimums are minimums. Delta most likely had lower mins when they hired Doug.

I had a few thousand hours of PIC, but not turbine PIC.
