Stop screwing up with Atlantic crossings….

Flying in “WAT” airspace is more challenging than a NAT crossing. Lmfao. Did someone really say that?
Yes I did. It’s absolutely harder/more work if you don’t have a CPDLC bird and have to make position reports. Then talk to ATC in Latin America or the Caribbean where they’ll forget to descend you, take forever to give you a weather deviation, and overall just a less robust ATC system. The hardest choice I make over the NATs is if I want chicken, beef or pasta

NAT HLA operations have been the easiest work I've done in my career. Zero weather deviations, no HF except for a SELCAL check, I get a nap, an extra set of eyes over everything I'm doing, and I also get fed.

Yeah, but I won’t sound cool for my TikTok video that I film of myself doing absolutely normal things pilots did thousands of times per day for decades without the need for validation or likes. :)

Improper radio use eats up bandwidth. Some moron during “peak” at Haneda did the whole “TOK E YOOOOO, Airliner 123 checking in with ya onboard at flight level 1-4-0 with information Juliet, how ya doin, lookin’ for the right side”

“Aircraft calling say again?”

And he did the whole spiel all over again.
It’s embarrassing to hear.
