Stay at Atlas or leave for AA ?

We are getting there. And as apprehensive I was when we were bought by a private equity firm, honestly it feels like we turned a corner from our previous management. They occasionally seem interested in solving problems instead of telling us that if we don’t like it, go work elsewhere.
Want him back?

We're kinda sick of him.

I've no idea how AA's scheduling works, but I was able to use 5 days of vacation at the beginning of February, with three inviolate days off at the end of January to get 18 days off in a row. Though I'm only crediting about 66 hours in February to do it. So it's certainly possible to get larger chunks of days off at pax majors. My shop also does cargo flying too, and while I enjoy showing up to work in jeans, the pax side isn't bad at all.

True freedom is found when you realize that min guarantee is a goal, not a limitation

I’ve always budgeted on around min guarantee. Works good.

Please don’t ever become one of those FOs who is a first name, city of residence and then three hours of payback days, green slips, trip drops and bidding strategy that always becomes chats about alimony, kids at Juilliard and how they’re going to get two Bulgogi burritos at Costco, eat one in the room and save the other for the flight back because you don’t trust flight attendants.

Delta must really suck!

I’m down to 60 hours for February.

I’ve just heard the unprovoked ‘why I didn’t upgrade, yuk yuk’ chat a millionty times.

Didn’t ask! :)
I find that when somebody starts defending a position they don't need to defend, it's a really interesting insight in to their psyche.

"Honey, I noticed we were out of bread. Want me to grab a loaf? I'll be near the store."

"Well see a couple days ago my sister came over to let the dog out And she was hungry so she made herself a peanut butter sandwich. I didn't get more myself because I saw clients late yesterday."

"........."

"So we're out of bread"

".........."

Likewise, if Coach had put me in in the 4th quarter we'd have won state.

I feel this way about people who are over the top with an obvious opinion. For example, 99.999% of people agree that pedophiles are awful. That’s not really a groundbreaking opinion, so I’m a little suspicious of the guy with the “kill your local pedophile” sticker on his truck.

hold on...hear me out!

-Trump, Hegseth, Kennedy Jr, Vance, Musk...probably.

I’m always tempted to peel off the top part of those stickers because I bet it would be a while before they noticed their bumper just said “pedo”

Usually the pilots that don’t trust the FA’s never tell anyone how they treat them like sh*t, call them names like “coke machine” and have horrible CRM.

I'm down to zero hours in February.

I will take as many incentive lines that I can, and I will do it as long as they're offered.
I would absolutely do this again, and probably enjoy it even more without the global zombie apocalypse. A beard hides my weak chin nicely.
