I got the news of this today. Very disappointing. I certainly hope that the pilots of Vision are smart enough not to get themselves branded as SCABs for life.

Someone said there are a bunch of furloughed United pilots flying the 5 737's there. I can't imagine they would fly struck work.

Yep. Apparently most of the guys there are former UAL and ATA, so I doubt they'll actually fly it.

It appears they only have 10 large aircraft. Even if they did it, it doesn't seem like it would make all that much of a difference.

VERY doubtful that ATA/UAL pilots would scab. But you never know they might have reserve pilots..

They have three 767's--one is sitting and the other two can't be flown. The only planes available are the five 737's.

Guys, you are dealing with Ben Baldanza who believes he has this thing figured out. He doesn't.
Hang in there. Make the sucker squirm. Don't settle for anything less than a fair contract with the proper raises that you have not had for the past nine years.
Baldanza will lose his job if you guys are on strike for any period of time which disrupts the earnings of this airline. The investors aren't going to stand for it.

I had one of the junior Riddle pilots onboard today as a jumpseater, and she was quite adamant about not crossing the line.
