Well, I am 99% certain I will not be there again this year. Bummed, but it is what it is.
Being out of work over 9 months by the time NJC rolls around, funds will be (Ha, who am I kidding....they're already are) severely restricted. Not to mention I bought a house just 2 months prior to being out of work. Soooo, as you can imagine, we're having a blast this year here in the Cruise household.

Crossing my fingers, I'll actually be back in ground school right about the time NJC is upon us.

So I just booked the hotel and I'm looking at the event tickets, I'm assuming if I bring a guest (my SO) that I also have to buy an event ticket for them as well? I hope I can make it out there, but the way my work is everything is last minute.

After some drama at work, 1/3 of the people have quit with more looking for other work and I doubt any replacements will be on the roster by NJC. They have me working 70 hours some weeks in October(and up to 110 hour straight over an 11 day period including NJC), only days off I got approved was Fleetweek weekend when I needed to use all my 2 weeks vacation for various days that month. I'll come up with something, at this point I have pretty iron-clad job security so I'll find a way out there.
