How does the jumpseat/open space in the back work with American? I was reading this today-
Some off lines are "limited;" meaning only as many jump seaters from limited airlines as there are cockpit jump seats. If an unlimited pilot is checked in first and there is only one seat, then there is technically no room for a limited pilot, even with seats in the cabin. Check with your local chairman for your status.
Are SkyWest pilots allowed to sit in the back if there is room?

That is incorrect information. There are no more "limited" jumpseat agreements with AA anymore.
If there are seats in the back by the time they get to you on the priority list, you get a seat in the back, regardless of any other jumpseaters listed.
