Sigh.
"But why did everyone below me get that day off?"
Because they did, go fly.

Having never bid above 50% in my whole career, I took (and take) exceedingly simplistic approaches to bidding - and was usually in the range of moderately displeased to exstatic depending on the solution.Exactly.
Life's good with managed expectations.
Same here at this point. Bid prefer: 4 day trips.Having never bid above 50% in my whole career, I took (and take) exceedingly simplistic approaches to bidding - and was usually in the range of moderately displeased to exstatic depending on the solution.
Damn right I'll bid every time, though. Even at 100%.
Just got offered the job at SkyWest. I live in Lincoln Park (Chicago). I can get Jan 2 CRJ class or Jan 19 for the 175. I really like the 175, but to be able to be based at home at ORD, is the crj really the right pick? I wouldn't want to commute to reserve on the west coast. Thanks. Can't wait to join y'all.
No discussion necessary. For the Midwest, it's CRJ.Just got offered the job at SkyWest. I live in Lincoln Park (Chicago). I can get Jan 2 CRJ class or Jan 19 for the 175. Let er rip!
Generally I really can't complain. Sometimes I'm downright pleased.
I usually did Sunday AM starts and the earliest BART arrival was mid morning ish (I used to be able to tell you exactly).Bart-able the Scrivener? Wait, no, that's Bartleby.

Block/365? Impressive. You work too hard. (I know it's probably not voluntary.)It's good for my paycheck and advancement, and it's not like I didn't know what I was signing up for.

Funny, the higher my block is, the more I'm sick; one month where I'd done 4-2-4-2-4-2 ad infinitum I wound up sick for a week and a half.
That's interesting.. meanwhile on reserve I'm hardly blocking 30 a month. And I have friends who work less. Where are you based?Block/365.
At the end of the month I'll be within a 4 day of 1000 hours in the CRJ.
I don't even want to talk about sick leave right now.
If I could figure out a way to work just a little bit less that would be great, so far no luck. I'm pretty close to what I would consider to be the sweet spot.
