As someone who is about to join the regional ranks, I'm looking for somewhat of a moral boost. I'll be moving to COS this summer so that I can hopefully be based at home. Over at APC it seems like it's just constant doom and gloom, people getting minimum days off with poor credit. Are these just the outliers? I don't expect the schedule I want for years but such a negative picture is being painted it's hard to ignore.

There is one there that should be watched. 8).Zondaracer said:Colorado Springs is a great base with varied flying and great crews. People use APC as an avenue to complain but on the line, you won't see so much negativity.

Getting SLC could be anywhere from right out of training to 6 months, just depends on when they open more spots. You will be on reserve for a long time, likely a year or more. The interview is pretty laid back. Be yourself, try to relax, the job is yours for the taking.
really depends on what you bid for and what you get. again my experience was a few 200 trips intermixed with longer 700/900 stuff, with the occasional weird ferry/reposition flight thrown in while on reserve.I'm going to chime in here too guys. I have an interview on Monday in SLC and am hoping to be SLC based. I am in NC now, but lived in Park City for 5 years when I was a ski bum. Any insight into the type of flying, time to get SLC based out of training, time to hold a line, etc. Really any info, including about the interview would be greatly appreciated!
I saw C.E. this weekend, actually - she is tough, but fair, and I (and many of my colleagues) continue to hold her in the highest esteem. That's a major 180 from before, when their interview seemed more like an astronaut interview!
Umm... Is she back now?I saw C.E. this weekend, actually - she is tough, but fair, and I (and many of my colleagues) continue to hold her in the highest esteem.
She was at another airline briefly but not sure where now.Last I heard she worked for a consulting company, or another airline perhaps, that was at the job fair this this weekend.
No.
