Skywest Questions

Unreal, they certainly aren't going under me in my base anytime soon. More love for Detroit and Chicago

We actually had no reserves in ORD in March.... There will probably be a grand total of five next month. All the new incoming AA stuff is keeping us occupied.

18000 pilots in three years.... Come on, that is ridiculous. And even if it were true, most regional pilots are focused on legacy carriers; not the 135, ACMIs etc.... Limited number of slots out of retirements and still far too many pilots wanting them.

?? You think ALPA is creating the retirement reports??

I've spent the last few months moving up numbers by fits and spurts in base, but no back fill means my percentage hasn't budged. Finally got a four or five more added behind me in MSP, though I'm still close enough to the bottom that it doesn't matter much. Thought about ORD as I'd have a line there but I've finally gotten settled into a rhythm with my commute and crash pad so I think I'm just gonna stick it out here until I can get home to PHX.

Exactly, I read that and was like what is he smoking. 18,000 in the next decade, definitely if all goes well.

I need to PM someone about Skywest military leave policy because I have a bit of a unique situation I need to discuss. Anyone out there capable of answering my question?

Thanks!
