Shocking news, Dan Gryder is a POS

I mean, we just established the rabid fanbase element. Plenty of people would go out of their way to make a comment like that before Dan himself.

That being said, if this is Dan, I would have to say that Brittney was a friend of mine and I really hope, like deep within my bones for both of our sake’s hope, that you and I never cross paths beyond this thread.

Well, it looks like Dan managed to escape gross incompetence alive again. I swear this guy has 9.... well, probably more like 6 lives. A few more inches to the right and this problem would have solved itself...

I held my nose and watched him trying to explain "it wasn't his fault!".... Looking at his own video, you can see how his diarrhea of the mouth almost killed everyone in that aircraft. I'm happy they are alive. I did send him a Dollar though. I hate to see him beg!

I will add.

A Spirit pilot called him out on his BS publically. So what does Dan Gryder do? Calls Spirit to try to get the pilot fired, threatens legal action and forces the Spirit pilot to come on YouTube Live so Dan can slam this guy into getting a completely faked apology while trying to show the world he didn't try to kill a cop with a DC-3 and somehow prove that he isn't a pile of garbage. Sadly enough, he has a fanbase that believes the garbage he spews.

Dan is basically the Rush Limbaugh of crash analysis Youtubers. Makes wild, sweeping, and incorrect statements on these videos, and has already been sued and LOST in a huge 1 million dollar settlement that caused him to remove a ton of videos. He then tried begging for money to pay for the settlement. Remind you of anyone?

Let's also not forget that he crashed a 150 a couple years ago lol
This POS reported an Alaska Captain friend to her company just because she made a comment he didn't agree with!
In regards to Dan Grinder's retirement status at DL, I can perhaps shed some light on it.
Unless a union airline pilot does an incredibly outrageous or dangerous act on the job, most airlines negotiate a settlement with the union and retire the guilty pilot. Instead of termination and going through a long and expensive court or grievance battle. In which case the retired pilot gets to keep most benefits including NRSA pass travel.
BTW, I love the comment by someone who said Dan is the type of AH who sticks his head in the cockpit and says "I'm in "25A" in case you need my help fly this thing!"

***DENIED***
I’ve been real quiet about this, keeping it under the radar. I’m sharing now in hopes that it can empower others.
This is the Louisiana Supreme Court denying my stalker an appeal to drop the permanent protective order that was granted to me 2 years ago.
Everyone in the aviation community knows his name and that he’s a stain on aviation. More than that though, he harasses and bullies women. It stops here though.
Ladies, hold your own. The justice system is there to protect you. Use it. And stand up for others who are too weak to stand up for themselves.
I am so grateful for the Pointe Coupee Jurisdiction, the 18th Judicial District Court of appeals in Baton Rouge and now the Louisiana State Supreme Court in New Orleans.
DENIED. Such a sweet word.
Masculine Men Protect, not harm.

In short, Dan Gryder is a predator and stalker, who tried to get the restraining order reversed...

It is getting YouTube attention as well:

Would love to see Blanco give an analysis of this freaking disaster of a human being...

CRIMINAL!

Fun fact, there was a passenger than handed his business card to the lead flight attendant and told her that he was an experienced pilot and that if we needed anything that he was back (somewhere in the main cabin, I can’t remember).

She brings it to me and I’m like “What? I know this guy!” I walked back, under the assumption he knew it was me flying the jet, and he looked like he just saw a ghost.

“Hey man, how’d you know I was flying?”

“I didn’t… Derg?”

“Yeah man who did you think it was! Ha! Good to see you man!”

Turns out he was a former member of JC that I had to “let go” about a decade previous because of certain circumstances I really don’t want to go back into.

Just think @Roger Roger you just missed out on flying next to such a professional aviator.

I thought it was a “har har” moment, but when the look of surprise told me he was legit presenting himself as an available asset in the back of the aircraft to whom he thought were strangers.

What weird days those were.

I've tried to imagine the astronomically improbable scenario where I would raise my hand from coach and say "I can fly, I'm a pilot" but even if it were my company and the aircraft that I'm typed and train pilots in I would still hesitate.

“I’m a line check captain on this, I can help!”

“We’re not having a problem with callouts, buddy!”
