He's bothered by lloyd's attitude. I was too, until I just realized he was a Jarhead. I am fine now.

:rotfl: Now that is some funny stuff right there. Lloyd's attitude has never bothered me...but I do get a chuckle when I read some of his stuff. The 'ole hand mike in Bravo airspace still has me laughing.

The most damnedest conversations that I have ever had in my life was when I was standing in the chow line and talking with a jarhead.

Although, I still have respek for the 5521 MOS that Lloyd was a member of. :p

Don't make fun of that . . . that's reckless behavior. What are you gonna joke about next - turning off the flight director?:panic:

It takes a lot of skill to twirl that stick up front!!!

Good lord folks, arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still riding the short bus! (how's THAT for PC? :))

Anyway, I don't think I had to give out three infractions for a single thread ever.

But if you had the job offered to you flying 37 passengers in Dash 8s after being unemployed and low on cash for 3 months, would you politely decline the offer saying "I'm sorry Mr. Recruiter, I have decided that I do not have enough experience and won't accept the position, even though other people with ultra low time will take my position anyway." ???

Can't really say what I'd have done had the opportunity presented itself. I probably would have taken the job. My point is the feds need to establish some kind of minimum experience requirement to sit in the right seat of an airplane operated under 121.

:yeahthat:

They need to set 121 mins just like 135.

Passenger carrying in an airplane that requires 2 pilots yes, but not cargo or single pilot certified operations imo...

To sit right seat in say a king air with a fully qualified single pilot captain doesn't require much experience and is a great way to gain it.

I dont see waht the issue is. Im on my 10th tour of duty as a gulfstream FO. I won the money and paid my dues on the show "greed" with chuckie wools. So i see no reason not to continue waht im doing, this is the greatest show on earth, screw barnum, and add bailey. I dont want to upgrade here b/c im not ready and i dont want the extra responsibility.

That would be part 91 ops.

Not everybody has what it takes to wear the eagle, globe and anchor. That's a blessing I'm thankful for. ;)

:D

They sure did try hard. . .but thankfully I value my QOL just a bit more than sitting in the mud. :)

And - don't take that the wrong way, I'm thankful you were part of the few, the proud, the Marines.

I did not deserve my infraction.... but I am proud to be part of history. :)

Yeah, they took one look at my ASVAB score and told me I did not meet the criteria.

Um....

There were 30 or so recruits for various branches when I took my ASVAB test. 3 of us were USMC poolees.

We had the three highest scores.

(I'm just sayin'.)

Overruled.

There's no pride in infractions. The more infractions the system produces is that much closer to (another popular website) we become. And if it gets like that, it's not worth spending 95% of my free time on it.
