(4th MAW El Toro MCAS).

Marine Reserve?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. The Corps has 3 regular air wings and a 4th air wing which is the reserve air wing. The 4th MAW (Marine Air Wing) is not located at one particular location, rather, it is enveloped within the normal Marine Corps Air Stations.

Let me go ahead and answer for Grabo and myself. We're navy nuke chiefs. We don't really do the PT thing. Give us a call at the CPO club when you get finished. We will try to be somewhat sober.

I'm just a lowly E-6,
cwm27.gif
so I will be at the strip clubs and probably not sober.

Give me coffee when it's time to go and it'll be all good.

Yeah, us air wing types will be at the hangar. No time for PT!.

"CREW REST!!!!!'

Hell Yeah! It's such a great thing. I only pushed it on friday evenings and after long flights and they want you to stay till the wee hours of the morning doing maintenance

Well it looks like even though on Tuesday I make E-3, I will still be the squadron bitch here. So if anything goes wrong take it out on me, but no, I wont get any "tea bags" for anyone, ever.

Is this going to be a one weekend a month two weeks a year gig??

And whats this I hear about knocking over a casino?
grin.gif

I'm an MP!! Don't test my integrity

I finished "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault" and watched about six back-to-back episodes of "Band of Brothers" on cable yesterday, does that get me any street cred'?

Well Doug the next step for you would be to spend the next month or two learning how to make your bed with hospital corners and have the sheets so tight a quarter would bounce off of it. Also make sure you learn how to fold your clothes so intricatley that it takes 3 hours just for one shirt. Well thats how they trained me at least.

Making a bed is the biggest waste of time on earth!

Almost as useful as lining up all of the raviolis in your plastic bowl, right after plopping them out of the freshly opened can of Chef Boyardee's!

It was all just a game to get you to follow directions. Although I will admit the folding did come in handy onboard the ship. Space was at a HUGE premium and the more space, the better. As for the making the bed, I would agree with Doug, big waste of time. Why straighten out what you will just mess up again when you go back to bed. Besides I don't know of too many people that host there guest in the bedroom. I am the only one other than my wife that goes in our bedroom and I could care less what the bed looks like.

A day late and a dollar short, but here goes. Dunno if this even really counts:

USAF Officer Training School and Pilot select. (as of June 10th).

Yeah, I'm still a wanna-be, but it's not a bad place to be.

Let's just say I am gonna bust my rear-end for T-38 track select. After that, I really can't think of an undesireable aircraft assignment. But my dream is the A-10, and thats not just a kiss up to Mike D. Its just a great jet and a real, honest to God, pilot's airplane. Not much in the way of electronics, which I tend to like. Call me crazy, but I just do. Anyhow, it really doesnt matter, they could give me Helo's and I would still be happy to be a USAF officer and pilot.

Ill see you in Tucson then. Oh and I always thought helos were boring until the Army gave me an incentive ride in a Blackhawk over Iraq. They fly so low in the Army and they would bank so hard that the rotor blades looked to be feet off the ground. Really changed my mind about helicopters that day.

They might not be around for you to select, unfortunately.
