Refract??

What exactly is this a measure of? When I got sent to Ft. Cambell to get a flight physical when I joined the Army to be a controller, I failed due to my refract level. Just curious about it...Also, is this something LASIK can correct?

I assume you are talking about your visual acuity (20/20 or 20/some other number). Without more specific information, I cannot really tell you any more.

Do you mean your refractive error? I know that is why I cannot fly for any branch of the armed forces but can still pass a 1st class medical.

yeah, it's not acuity, at the time I had received a waiver...but he said something about how my eye bends light....just curious for some more info.
