Pubnat2 e-quip

yeah im a little confused on this still as well...I dont know wether to send in that dot form now, back to the email who sent it....or turn it in at the pepc....

This thread is confusing because you all are talking about two different forms.

The DOT Form 1631 and the signature pages from the E-qip.

After completing e-QIP, you should release your document as instructed. The certification and release pages will be printed and signed when you process through the PEPC. It is also recommended that you complete and return the attached DOT Form 1631.

S0- Return the Form 1631 and you will sign the signature pages AT THE PEPC. Having us fill out the e-qip at home is just to save time at the PEPC, not actually to speed up the investigation process.

DOH!!! Another FAA screwup....They should just let us send in the forms and get the investigation going....Why wait....theres no reason...what is the worse thing that happens? Someone shows up looking like a idiot to the PEPC and is not offered a TOL.... then they call the security division and say there is no need to finish the investigation...This would allow us to get cleared faster and hopefully get sooner class dates.....

Why would they do anything to speed up the process!!!

Anyone else not get their e-quip yet? It seems like most of you who got it are en route guys. I was selected for CLT. I guess different HR/security people are assigned to different groups??

Hudson26- I do believe that you are correct. But what I wanted to find out- and have not gotten word back from Van V yet- are the signatures for the SF-86 we perform at the PEPC because they need a witness for the official signed documentation or not. It says no where on the e-QIP website or instructions that the document should be released without first the signature pages being sent--- but we shall see.

As they say the first time you fly the LOC/DME Runway 15 at Aspen at night in IMC, "I think that's the road and not the interstate- but the gear is down either way."

Isn't that why they have Notaries? They should just let us get a notarized and mail it in....

It wouldn't speed anything up, you could finish your e-QIP the day before the PEPC and it wouldn't slow you down one bit. They have to wait until they get everything, your fingerprints, your credit report, and then the investigation will likely begin.

Like the majority of your guys, I am also a New Yoker-born and raised in Rockland County. I am going to NC-I must say that I will miss NY sarcasm.

I faxed the signed documents to the number in the email. I also printed them out for my records. I just have a giant folder of all the forms that I'll bring to KC. In my view, either way I'm safe now.

I haven't gotten mine yet and I was offered a terminal position. I am giving them until Wednesday before I call or e-mail. I submitted it late Thursday evening.

Does anyone know if I can logout of the e-qip site and log back in later keeping my progress up till that point. I've started but am waiting for some information and am afraid to logout and lose everything I've done up to this point. I know each page is saved after it's completed but am wondering if any of you out there have actually logged off halfway through. Thanks.

Yes. It will be there when you log back on. Remember your golden answers.

Can someone answer this question: I'm en route and filling ut the SF-86, the directions say to go back 7 or 10 years on my history...Is it 7 or 10 years that I must include information on? Is this a SSBI? Thanks.

when i filled it out, it wouldn't let me finish the equip until i had connected my 7 years, accounting for each month (i.e. 11/2003-5/2004 has to connect to 6/2004-7/2004) . don't know if that helps or not, but that's what i have.
