I tried calling Aviation Careers today, asked about my clearnaces, then realized the secretary was connecting me to my HR rep. Did I do something wrong? Should I ask something else next time? I need to know as soon as possible....I am a Supervisor in an ICU...I can't exactly pack my bags and leave in a week and a half. I just hope they come soon, and they give me at least two weeks notice. Anyone have any thoughts on what I can do?

I love being able to bother my HR rep over Instant messaging :D one perk of being an FAA employee already. I'm still waiting on MMPI results....cooommmmeeee onnnnnnn alreadyyyyyyy

Same here. My security clearance has been back since July 7th, but no MMPI or medical results yet. Drug test was clean though, I think she said it was good through December.

was the drug test a worry of yours? that one is usually the least of anyone's worries
 
I just got a call from S.F. and my class dates will be Oct. 6 - Feb. 17, after which I will report to my facility on Feb. 19, 2009. After the call, I received my FOL and additional forms by email.

Good luck and congrats in advance to everyone who gets their FOL! Just wondering, how do the holidays work when you're in Academy?
 
I was told by BR, back when she was my HR rep, that you only get the holidays off. There is no extended break for the Holidays. Good thing about this year is that Christmas Day and New Years Day are both on Friday, so it would be possible to go home for the extended weekend.
 
Well boys and girls,

I am fully cleared except for my MMPI, my test results aren't in yet. Aren't in yet??? How long has it been? I mean my security came in before my MMPI and I have live all over the place. Hopefully I will get that MMPI result in and get a phone call soon. I haven't heard anything about it in the mail or by phone, so I'm pretty sure I passed.

Here's to me being medically fit, financially sound, not a security threat, not a druggy, but possibly crazy :rotfl::beer:

No worries...that was just the only 'medical' type test she had results for at this point.

I figured everyone's MMPI results were in since a lot of people got the 're-take' letters, so I kinda assumed I was good there. Apparently they haven't gotten through all of them yet.
 
I was actually more concerned about the security clearance, I am squeaky clean, but they can deny for any reason. I'm just glad that's over with.
 
Any tips for contacting HR? My medical clearance is complete :D, but I am having a difficult time getting a response from C.S. in regard to a potential class date. Should I try contacting someone else in HR?

C.S. hasn't answered my emails in recent weeks either. Haven't tried calling her yet though.
