Pubnat 5/6

Is any one that went to the CHICAGO PEPC in June going to call tomorrow and check on their medical??

UTAMAV:bandit:
I talked to Ava last Friday and then to Annie today. Doesn't seem like much has gone on yet. At least not for those of us who had medical records that needed reviewing.

My HMO really dragged its feet when I asked for records from 5 years ago. I requested them as soon as I got back from Chicago, and just barely picked them up today and faxed them in. So I will not be calling tomorrow. :(

of course they did, they know if you are getting a government job that you won't need them anymore

FYI, Just called to find out status of medical clearance from June PEPC, they told me "nobody is cleared yet, please call back in 30 days."

That's weird. I called this morning and they told me I'm good to go. Maybe it's just you.

Actually they said call back August 15.

Well lets hope our background, MMPI clears with our medical clearance during the same time next month... :insane:

Touche to that. I just wanted to know if A.J. had received my information from cardiology. (my HR was fast at PEPC.....damn that white coat stuff.) BTW my bp/hr at the cardiologist office was 115/58 and 62 respectively. Any way I tried to call A.J. just to make sure they received the info, I could care less about results of my medical at this point, but no one even answered the phone. Rediculous. I would think if they haven't received it, that someone would have called me. The sheet they gave me says, "If we do not receive your paperwork within 30 days, we will consider you application as forfeited". ARGGGGGG!!!!!!! What do you guys think...would they have called me if they haven't received anything.

MMPI maybe....background check? I say no way. Those are supposed to take months, if not close to a year. Of course you could be granted a conditional clearance earlier, but the whole thing will take some time.

I pretty much called to check on the same things. I've had no problems getting hold of anyone in the Chicago office though. I've talked to Ava several times, in addition to Annie. As of Monday this week all they had was my Echo report, which was mailed on June 26th. There should be about 115 more pages of documents sitting there somewhere. I'll check back later to make sure they do in fact get everything I sent them. Annie said it was likely the other stuff was sitting in the mail room and not yet delivered to whoever it was addressed too. Not very comforting

A trainee at the facility I am interning at was at the Academy within 5 months of applying to PUBNAT 2 and they are OTS.

You can go to the Academy before you are fully cleared. I obviously don't know if that's the case with the person you know, but it is possible.

Not in the too distant past the average time to gain a secret security clearance was 160 days. That's just the average though, but if anything comes up it can take a lot longer.

The process was supposed to be streamlined by Dec. 09, but who knows if that is really happening or not.

I'm not sure about a year but I'll think positive and give them til Sept how's that? lol :D :p

Did any of your references finally get their scantron mbalunda? All my reference got theirs and have sent it in already. I'm just not sure about my employer. Needless to say, but I didn't ask either if they did or not :)

None of them have mentioned it....so as far as I know no one has received one yet.

At the PEPC they requested additional medical records. Not sure, but maybe they delay the other steps until you are medically cleared? I really don't know.

Welcome to dealing with the AGL. I have been trying to get a specific person to call me since 7/14. Try calling the main number, they seem to answer it more.

BTW PUBNAT 2 panels selections weren't even conducted until 5 mo after applications closed.

I have the past depression form 6 1/2 years ago and they sent out my clearances scantrons to my references and all my employers. However I pased the physical and EKG. I hope I passed the MMPI..lol.

I passed the physical and EKG as well. So who knows what the delay is. I'll check back with medical next week to check on the status of my other health documents and go from there.

Seems as though there isn't any real reason for the delay though.
