From sports, news, film, and television series, AVS can design, deploy, and support custom packages comprised with our technology and engineering expertise to elevate your production to the next level. &nbsp;We are honored to have an extensive resume including Dancing with the Stars, The Price is Right, WWE Wrestlemania, MLB World Series, HBO, National Geographics, The Voice, Los Angeles Marathon, NFL Network, ESPN NCAA Football, FOX Sports, NBC Sunday Night Football and ESPN Monday Night Football to name just a few.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Due to business expansion, AVS is seeking a P68 Observer Captain to join our team. &nbsp;The pilot will be needed to fly predominantly during the busy NFL broadcast season from August through January. &nbsp;Flights may include various other aerial production activities including NCAA Football and MLB productions. &nbsp;There may be other opportunities to fly productions throughout the year as needed.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The AVS Pilot will fly a twin-engine piston, high wing, P68 Observer with a single aerial camera operator while performing single pilot operations. &nbsp;If you happen to be dual rated, there may also be opportunities flying the Robinson R-44. &nbsp;Flights are conducted throughout the US, during day and night, often in marginal VFR conditions in complex airspace; typically in close proximity to very high traffic density International airports. &nbsp;Additionally, as the NFL season also extends through the winter months, the aircrew will conduct flight operations in very cold, winter environments. &nbsp;The pilot will fulfill a flexible weekly/weekend schedule usually consisting of a 3 or 4 day cycle while covering broadcasts at most sporting venues throughout the country. &nbsp;Average continuous flight times over games is 4.5 hours. &nbsp;Following games, the pilot is responsible for ferrying the aircraft to the next venue. &nbsp;This may consist of a 30 minute hop or an 8 hour trek and will be conducted both VFR and IFR as needed. &nbsp;Once the aircraft is in position for the next game, the pilot will be flown home commercially by AVS to rest and prepare for the next event.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The pilot position allows for freedom to manage yourself and your crew in an unsupervised capacity while also requiring discipline and focused attention to fulfill both company and FAA requirements as well as being the face of aerial production for AVS. &nbsp;The job is very rewarding as you are closely involved with live and taped aerial video production supporting national sports network broadcasts. &nbsp;The position requires the ability to balance the requirements of safety while also placing the aircraft in the optimal position for aerial imagery and working in close cooperation with the aerial cameraman.</div>
