Metrea Management oversees 9 global business units via Operations, Strategy, Legal, and Finance teams.</p><strong><span>Position Summary</span></strong><p>This role supports the Operations department by handling customer aerial refueling request, generating&nbsp;flight&nbsp;plans&nbsp;utilizing&nbsp;information&nbsp;received,&nbsp;and&nbsp;providing&nbsp;flight&nbsp;following&nbsp;of&nbsp;company&nbsp;aircraft in accordance with Metrea Strategic Mobility (MSM) processes and Federal Aviation Regulations.</p><p>Individuals&nbsp;are&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;briefing&nbsp;weather,&nbsp;known&nbsp;hazards&nbsp;that&nbsp;may&nbsp;exist&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;flight, and coordinating day of aerial refueling operations to ensure safe and efficient service up until&nbsp;the submission of post-flight documentation.</p><strong><span>Essential Functions Statements</span></strong><ul><li>Gather&nbsp;aerial&nbsp;refueling&nbsp;details&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;customers&nbsp;and&nbsp;create&nbsp;a&nbsp;logical&nbsp;flight&nbsp;plan&nbsp;in&nbsp;ForeFlight</li><li>Flight plan will take into consideration performance, maximum Takeoff and Landing weight, calculating&nbsp;a&nbsp;departure&nbsp;time&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;scheduled&nbsp;rendezvous,&nbsp;and&nbsp;determining&nbsp;fuel&nbsp;requirement to support customer offload request, alternates, and landing minimum reserve fuel (while complying with the Federal Aviation Administration minimums).</li><li>Generate&nbsp;detailed&nbsp;mission&nbsp;package&nbsp;to-include&nbsp;all&nbsp;documents&nbsp;required&nbsp;for&nbsp;execution</li><li>Brief&nbsp;flight&nbsp;information,&nbsp;to-include&nbsp;Notices&nbsp;to&nbsp;Airman,&nbsp;local&nbsp;and&nbsp;through&nbsp;flight&nbsp;weather,&nbsp;Area entry/exit procedures, Air Refueling details, and any changes</li><li>Coordinate&nbsp;with&nbsp;Pilot&nbsp;in&nbsp;Command&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;critical&nbsp;go/no-go&nbsp;flight&nbsp;release&nbsp;decisions&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure safe and efficient flight operations</li><li>Track&nbsp;and&nbsp;communicate&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Aircrew&nbsp;throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;flight&nbsp;and&nbsp;pass&nbsp;Mx&nbsp;status,&nbsp;fuel&nbsp;status, and any pertinent information regarding the flight to Maintenance and Operations leadership</li><li>Prepares&nbsp;effective&nbsp;and&nbsp;timely&nbsp;contingency&nbsp;plans&nbsp;to&nbsp;recover&nbsp;from&nbsp;service&nbsp;disruptions&nbsp;due&nbsp;to weather, ATC, mechanical issues, etc.</li><li>Collect&nbsp;and&nbsp;input&nbsp;post&nbsp;flight&nbsp;information&nbsp;and&nbsp;draft&nbsp;routine&nbsp;reports</li><li>All other duties assigned</li></ul><strong><span>Competency Statements</span></strong><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Air-to-Air Refueling planning, procedures, and tactics.</li><li>Plan&nbsp;missions&nbsp;that&nbsp;adhere&nbsp;to&nbsp;FAA&nbsp;guidance&nbsp;and&nbsp;Military&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;during&nbsp;large&nbsp;exercises while operating in confined spaces.</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;calculate&nbsp;Take-Off&nbsp;and&nbsp;Landing&nbsp;Data,&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;fuel&nbsp;loads,&nbsp;and&nbsp;flight&nbsp;timing.</li><li>Detail&nbsp;oriented.&nbsp;Must&nbsp;be&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;accurately&nbsp;pass&nbsp;information&nbsp;across&nbsp;all&nbsp;spectrums</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;use&nbsp;Foreflight&nbsp;software&nbsp;to&nbsp;plan&nbsp;and&nbsp;dispatch&nbsp;a&nbsp;comprehensive&nbsp;flight&nbsp;plan</li><li>Must&nbsp;have&nbsp;the&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;multitask&nbsp;and&nbsp;work&nbsp;effectively,&nbsp;both&nbsp;individually&nbsp;and&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;member&nbsp;of&nbsp;a project team, while ensuring timely completion of assignments</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;interact&nbsp;with&nbsp;internal&nbsp;and&nbsp;external&nbsp;customers</li><li>Must&nbsp;be&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;initiative&nbsp;and&nbsp;work&nbsp;independently</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;collaboratively&nbsp;work&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;fast-paced&nbsp;environment</li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format.</li></ul><strong><span>Supervisory Responsibility</span></strong><p>This role has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><strong><span>Work Environment</span></strong><p>This job operates in an environment that varies from a clerical, office setting using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to a warehouse setting with various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold to also shop-floor locations, ramp and outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels.</p><strong><span>Physical Demands</span></strong><p>This is a primarily sedentary role;
