Metrea Management oversees 9 global business units via Operations, Strategy, Legal, and Finance teams.</p><strong><span>Position Summary</span></strong><p>This role supports the Operations department by handling customer aerial refueling request, generating flight plans utilizing information received, and providing flight following of company aircraft in accordance with Metrea Strategic Mobility (MSM) processes and Federal Aviation Regulations.</p><p>Individuals are responsible for briefing weather, known hazards that may exist throughout the flight, and coordinating day of aerial refueling operations to ensure safe and efficient service up until the submission of post-flight documentation.</p><strong><span>Essential Functions Statements</span></strong><ul><li>Gather aerial refueling details from the customers and create a logical flight plan in ForeFlight</li><li>Flight plan will take into consideration performance, maximum Takeoff and Landing weight, calculating a departure time to meet scheduled rendezvous, and determining fuel requirement to support customer offload request, alternates, and landing minimum reserve fuel (while complying with the Federal Aviation Administration minimums).</li><li>Generate detailed mission package to-include all documents required for execution</li><li>Brief flight information, to-include Notices to Airman, local and through flight weather, Area entry/exit procedures, Air Refueling details, and any changes</li><li>Coordinate with Pilot in Command to make critical go/no-go flight release decisions to ensure safe and efficient flight operations</li><li>Track and communicate with the Aircrew throughout the flight and pass Mx status, fuel status, and any pertinent information regarding the flight to Maintenance and Operations leadership</li><li>Prepares effective and timely contingency plans to recover from service disruptions due to weather, ATC, mechanical issues, etc.</li><li>Collect and input post flight information and draft routine reports</li><li>All other duties assigned</li></ul><strong><span>Competency Statements</span></strong><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Air-to-Air Refueling planning, procedures, and tactics.</li><li>Plan missions that adhere to FAA guidance and Military procedures during large exercises while operating in confined spaces.</li><li>Ability to calculate Take-Off and Landing Data, accurate fuel loads, and flight timing.</li><li>Detail oriented. Must be able to accurately pass information across all spectrums</li><li>Ability to use Foreflight software to plan and dispatch a comprehensive flight plan</li><li>Must have the ability to multitask and work effectively, both individually and as a member of a project team, while ensuring timely completion of assignments</li><li>Ability to interact with internal and external customers</li><li>Must be able to take initiative and work independently</li><li>Ability to collaboratively work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent communication skills, verbally and in written format.</li></ul><strong><span>Supervisory Responsibility</span></strong><p>This role has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><strong><span>Work Environment</span></strong><p>This job operates in an environment that varies from a clerical, office setting using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to a warehouse setting with various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold to also shop-floor locations, ramp and outdoors with potential adverse weather conditions and high noise levels.</p><strong><span>Physical Demands</span></strong><p>This is a primarily sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</strong></p><p>This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.</p><strong><span>Facility Location:</span></strong><p>Temecula, California - 41955 4th Street, suite 315 Temecula, CA 92590</p><strong><span>Travel</span></strong><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Travel requirements are 25</p><p> </p><strong><span>Required Education, Experience and Certificates</span></strong><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Education: High School Diploma or GED</p><p>Experience: Airline Dispatcher, KC-135 Pilot or 5+ years&39; Boom Operator with operational experience and prior participation in Large Military exercises (i.e., Red Flag, Rim Pack, etc.) Certificates: FAA Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating</p><p>Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</p><p> </p><strong><span>Preferred Education, Experience and Certificates</span></strong><p>Education: College or Aviation trade school</p><p>Experience: Working knowledge of Aerial Refueling Operations, National Airspace System, flight plan management, and customer service.</p><p>Certificates: FAA Dispatcher Certificate</p><strong><span>Additional Eligibility Qualifications</span></strong><p>Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance. Must have good command of the English language; oral and written.</p><p>Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, government regulations, and procedure manuals, and understand technical instructions furnished in written or verbal form.</p><strong><span>Work Authorization/Security Clearance</span></strong><p>Employee must be a US citizen.</p><p>Employee must be able to hold and maintain a Secret (or higher) Clearance Level.
