Oh man, wasn’t joking but was forgetting what a POS the 737 is. So there is no indication when a door is open??Not sure if you're joking or not......Does a 737 have any "page?" Or just recall lights?

yes, you will get a master caution and a doors annunciator cueing you to look at the overhead panel. Not sure if the plugged door is wired into that.Oh man, wasn’t joking but was forgetting what a POS the 737 is. So there is no indication when a door is open??
Ok, does it alert to a specific door? But this was my main question if that false door is wired. Just curious.yes, you will get a master caution and a doors annunciator cueing you to look at the overhead panel. Not sure if the plugged door is wired into that.
When you screw up your neck looking over your shoulder you will see a block of annunciator lights and whichever door is open will be illuminated. But yeah not sure about the false door. I guess if you found a high-def picture of a Max overhead panel you might could tell.Ok, does it alert to a specific door? But this was my main question if that false door is wired. Just curious.
Bicycle rights!Meanwhile, some poor schmuck riding his bike through Portland just got doored again.
You joke, but we actually had a CBT about (mostly) 737 pilots hurting themselves doing their flows/looking at the overhead panel. When you screw up your neck looking over your shoulder you will see a block of annunciator lights and whichever door is open will be illuminated. I don’t know if that is more sad or hilariousYou joke, but we actually had a CBT about (mostly) 737 pilots hurting themselves doing their flows/looking at the overhead panel.
Hey now. Don't pretend SWA or Alaska didn't want this planeThe Max is an albatross around our collective necks. Wish Boeing would get their poop together.
I think the 900 series in general has the same plug? They told us in training but I forget. The Max is an albatross around our collective necks. Wish Boeing would get their poop together.
@Cherokee_CruiserWhat is the crew composition ? Were they legacy hires, 121 only, military, or (gasp) any 91/135 experience ? How about checkride failures?
These are the important questions we need to be asking.

New press release from Alaska says they will use the time during the grounding to remove the word “Proudly” from those aircraft.

This video from the 737 Tech Site says the overhead door lamps panels are the same between the NG and MAXX (but not of deactivation of the door includes the lamp).

I believe that to be true.So would this have been the mid left exit?
