I wont be making any calls like that, but I understand what you mean.

However, it took me 30 seconds to find the list of HR reps by region. If I can do it, anyone can.
 
For all of you worrying...don't sweat it. I know where I am heading from an official-unofficial source. I also know that terminal service area I was selected for still had selection personnel in Oklahoma City as of Tuesday...still selecting. And, I haven't received my email yet.

So...relax. We will get our emails soon.

I am still confused on who is sending out the emails. The posters who have received them indicate they came from their HR reps (which would validate emails being sent out by region of facility location)

For PUBNAT1, we received an email first from someone who WAS NOT our HR contact telling us we had been selected and to let them know if we were still interested and to select our preference of three available PEPCs.

We did not hear from our HR rep until about 3 weeks later asking us to fill out forms.

6/19 - Email notification that I was selected for ZFW and which PEPC I wanted, not from my HR rep

6/24 - Email confirming the city of PEPC I was slotted for asking what day I wanted to attend from a new person (not the 6/19 person nor my HR contact)

7/2 - Email from my HR rep introducing himself and asking me to fill out forms and send back

7/25 - Email regarding confirmation of date / time for my PEPC, not from my HR rep. (from the person who sent my 6/24 email)

7/31 - Email from my HR rep to fill out some additional forms for Chicago PEPC.

I didn't specify any counties in GA or TX. I put 'both' or 'either' whatever the choice was on the website form. I am thinking it is for Augusta or Savannah since Atlanta is too busy and Peachtree DeKalb is too sought after.

The FAA is constantly changing things and trying to improve the administration. It could be a new way to notify people before PEPC invites go out or maybe they haven't officially finalized scheduling PEPC right now and are just letting us know 'hey you have been selected to interview and you will get a PEPC invite after you respond to this e-mail, send the paperwork, and get the next e-mail that will arrive around the end of October.'

The FAA is consolidating a lot of things right now and this could be one of those processes that they are trying to consolidate in order to save money or spend it elsewhere.

There were no details, and there have been other threads whos purpose was to get everyone worked up over nothing. So please pardon our reaction, but it was not a personal attack on the OP. Had the initial post included a copy/paste the response would have probably been much different... the low post count also contributed to a lack of credibility... simply because we don't know the poster well...

But congrats to all who have got the email, and I have a feeling this is just the beginning of the emails so everyone hang on tight its gonna be a looonnngggg weekend (Monday is a holidy) so let's all hope for tomorrow! :panic: lol

Maybe this part of the e-mail scared him/her...

Thanks man! Your time is coming soon enough! There is still much to do before I get on with the FAA, but this is a step in the right direction for sure. Maybe all the facilities haven't 'released' their terminal picks for GA yet. I am just guessing right now though.

Did you go terminal only this time around or did you put both/either for GA? We still need to set up that ATCers from ATL soccer game...
