Absolutely... it's only three people we've seen with the emails, so I'm not worrying yet. They might just have an HR specialist who is in charge of a certain number of applications and he/she felt it was appropriate to contact them.

I wish I could say I'm not worrying. Just fearing not getting picked up this time around. Kinda makes me sick to my stomach.

Well I'm obviously not keeping the worrying completely down, but the people getting these emails have been from FL, GA, and NC... I haven't seen any other parts of the country yet. I really think it's just split into regions or something... of course I'm worried... I want to be picked up too, but I'm not panicking yet.

Yeah thats true. I'll start worrying some more when people with geo preferences from the North East start getting these.

If the PUBNAT 2 selection emails are actually coming from your HR rep, then this is highly likely. HR reps are split by geographical region.
Question for those who received the email so far...
Do your emails all contain the same HR persons name? I wonder if the person in charge of the southeast region is the only one whos emails went out today. Maybe you guys could just post the first and last initials so we could see if that's the case?

Edit: just looked up the FAA's regions... looks like you're all the Southern Region - AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN, Puerto Rico, USVI
Don't know what that tells us other than they should all have the same HR rep...

It doesn't specify a region for the specialist on my e-mail.
I meant the name of the HR person. I figure if you guys all have the same person, it might be good evidence of being from the same region.

Well, looks like my PR safety GeoPref didn't work like I was hoping it would, damn it all...
I know what you meant, but I am not putting their initials because someone on here or someone who sees this post will find their contact information and bother these people with 'where is my e-mail?' or 'why didn't I get one?'
Don't lose hope yet... I think there are still a ton of FL and GA people on these forums that we haven't heard from yet... those are two places (and TX and CA) everyone seems to want. I don't think all the emails for that region have gone out, if they're even doing it that way. As always, it's all speculation.

I had TX for one of my preferences as well as GA. Since it doesn't specify what state I was chosen for, I might not even be in the Southern Region. I believe I will be, but not certain yet.
