You may. HR reps in the past have made it clear that they won't have you redo clearances unless they have a plan for you in the near future. No point making someone redo them if they may have to do them again in another years.

Are you still in OKC? You got there the day after I left, and it seems like it's been forever since then.......

Then again, you enroute guys stay there a lot longer than us terminal folks.

I'd say you've got a really good shot. Since drug screens are only valid for 6 months, I'd say you're in before FY2011 starts. Lucky duck.

wow... well I hope so... good news for me... ive been waiting since april 08 so it would be a long time comin.

That should be great news. HR's been consistently telling people to not worry about it, that they'd be contacted when renewals were needed before scheduling an Academy date. Break out the screw-top champagne, baby!

Haha... if this whole process has taught me anything, it's to not get my hopes up, there won't be any champagne popping until I have my FOL in hand! haha... but I am optimistic :insane:

I'll definitely let ya know if I hear something. Its just kind of weird to me because my HR Rep in January was telling me that he didnt have good news and the whole western service area is pretty much on a hiring freeze til fy11 .... then a few weeks later he emailed me to get my clearances redone... haha so I'm not too sure what to think. Oh well. at this time I'm not too worried about it. Its completely out of my hands.

Still have three more weeks! There has been like 3 tower classes across the hall go through already :(

So I got a phone call today asking me to re-take my drug test! Hopefully good news is on the way!!!

Congrats on the news, even if it's not much; at least you know something will probably happen within 6 months!

That can only mean good things are on the way. Hopefully I'm not still at SBN by the time you get here. Although I can give you an awesome tour of the field when you get here if I am...

Well wouldnt you guess that I missed the phone call! I've waited over a year for that call and then as soon as I stop waiting it happens. Just my luck. Anyways, drug test has been retook and its on its way to whereever. She said as soon as they get the results back that they may have a date for me! Here's hoping!!!! I'll call to get an update in a few days, and I'll ask if theres room for you buddy!

They gave me a FOL at 11:00 Monday...Took it back about an hour later. Don't pop that champage till you are sitting in OKC.

Crazy.... ya no champagne popping til I'm in OKC and probably not even until I finish training!
