What’s junior WB FO in DFW and ORD?

October 2016 for DFW and September 2015 for ORD. Not many awards for 787 as they had staffed them for the 13 787s that we were supposed to get this year and Boeing keeps delaying.

For the highest retirement numbers in the industry, ya'll sure do seem to have the longest upgrade times. WB FO and [any] CA.

Being junior on reserve at American is a much more pleasant experience than being junior on reserve at United. Hence the disparity.

One flies domestic and one flies international on their trips. Domestic is a bigger category by a little more than double the size.

No. Just have to be qualed. Think that’s just an iPad course you get paid for.

It’s a 3 year upgrade. And unlike some of the other airlines, once you get it you’re trained “right away” not a point to be determined later throughout the year. When you factor that in, I think it’s on par with others.

Do you guys run large bids? How do you get accomodated right away, aren't there still limitations based on simulator availability, instructor schedules, etc?

It’s accounted for. Bids normally have an effective date 3-4 months out, and expected to be online and signed off by that time.

Not really, we don’t have hawaii flights in our bid packet so I don’t know much about it. Just one less thing they can reassign me into. I also dropped my Latin terrain quails.

There’s only about 5-10 airports (bogota, Quito, SJO, PEI etc) in the Latin terrain qual, and it’s airports that make a lot of sense to not be going in there for the first time green.
