Mid-air over Denver....

I instructed out of a non-towered airport, and used to fly a citation and even CRJs into a lot of busy non-towered airports. There’s a way to be safe and play nice with others without being a jerk. Demanding everyone get out of your way because “you’re in a jet!” isn’t safe and it’s IMO really amateur hour.
Blowing through your final and running into traffic on the parallel is also amateur hour.

A first time solo flight? Yikes

Pretty sure that was the kid behind the Cirrus. His YT title is confusing. First real solid sunny calm day after many of rain and crud. Guy probably was weathered out a few days and excited to do his solo. LOL [emoji23]

Haven’t looked at the rest of FlightAware but the pattern of folks doing the usual laps around 17R was probably busy if they’d already split the tower freqs. And the usual morning push of bizjets landing on the left.

That’s usually how they break it up. Full stops on the long runway, laps on the shorter one.

Read this theory elsewhere: Did the RH engine fail? The Metro got slapped from right to left. Nose would yaw go right. And as @Boris Badenov pointed out, it’s not feathered.

Probably figured out after he yawed that he still had power from it. Had no idea what shoved the nose right after initial sense he tossed the right engine.

At that point he’s already essentially in the flare with an unknown weirdness and strange control feel and just landed.

Key lime be like “it’ll make the next run right?”
“Absolutely, she’s good to go!”

I dunno. If I midaired and pulled a chute on my first solo, I don't think I'd want any t-shirt to commemorate that one.
