Metro test flight, new G600

Thats cool, don't see many Metro's these days, especially in a corporate configuration.

Most of the execs died of "deafdom" maybe. :)

I've never flown one, but I've flown ON them many times and they're loud on the inside and loud on the outside.

The best part is we get all of our own stuff and the new units to play with even before they are announced.....:bandit:

Soooooo, what can we look forward to coming out next? And when the heck are you guys gonna put V and J routes in the 430/530 family??? Thats about the only shortcoming I can think of with those units.

No habla ingles.
ha!!! Hey if I ever need the help, I'll ask for ya by name!! Nice. It is nice on the 600 (and 500) that the V and j routes are on there (at least the main ones)

As far as us showing our tail number, company does not care. My capt post things all the time . . . as long as it showes the plane in a good light, all is good. Thanks for the heads up though.

And Doug, your ears are lucky to have never had to fly a merlin!! Yes, very loud!!! In the back it is not too bad, but up front, to about 20' feet back . . . LOUD LOUD LOUD!! We have consumer Bose headsets for everyone with ANR in them for the PAX. The best part of it being loud up front, is that everyone stays out of there. No visitors!!!

So while up to this point, no one has even mentioned it, you will bring it to the forefront....

That makes sense.....:dunno:

Dunno. I made a post on a different board years ago where I pretty much stepped on my schlong. Someone pointed it out to me, I deleted it, and everything was fine. If I'd left it up...maybe not so fine? Personally, I'd rather someone point out when the footgear is about meet the willy. In this case no harm, no foul, clearly. But I'd rather know than not.

yeah, I looked at that site . . . I dont know who posted two of the pic's, the other is posted by my capt'n (it is the same picture on flight aware). it is crazy that there are folks out there taking and posting pictures of our airplanes on their websites . . . We better not go anywhwere our bosses dont know about . . .
"hhhmmmm yeah sir, we were planning on dropping you off in Denver and then heading back home to TX, but somehow we and the plane ended in in Vagas!"
We were told a while back that our plane was pictured in a rap music video. The tight shots where of a lear, then they showed our plane taxing and taking off!!! :rawk:

took a pic of the new layout the other day
