yeah, it is nice that Garmin came up with the 500 for the smaller aircraft. But Yes, it is really nice to have everything that the 600 gives us in the larger/faster/higher altitude planes. We can get so much information now and in a lot less steps than we did before. Great stuff. This is the first Metro that has the G600 in it. Most of these planes are used for cargo and so dont get a lot in the world of new upgrades, but this one has been corporate its whole life.Woah, nice stuff there. Its good to see that the Garmin stuff is making its way up into some bigger aircraft. Sure, they are nice to have in a PA-28, but they really open things up for something bigger, like has been shown here.
I actually do have a headset on, (in-ear type) I also use the Bose, and yes, when the batteries go down. . .MAN IT IS LOUD!!!!!!
FWIW, I'm an Aviation Support Specialist at Garmin. It's awesome to see people so excited about the Garmin stuff that sits at my desk everyday. If you ever call in to Garmin Tech Support, ask for Drew.
and seeing what's new before people know.
The best part is we get all of our own stuff and the new units to play with even before they are announced.....:bandit:
You know, many corporations are very fickle about having the identity of their aircraft made public. I have no idea how sensitive you operation is about privacy. In your video, the registration number, N727DP is clearly visible.
