Once again it's speculation, the fact they searched someones house doesn't prove anything. Until they locate a tangible piece of evidence everything is just speculating.
Having flown transport category aircraft and knowing the Boeing systems, I heavily doubt it.

I am an idiot but if the pilot planned to crash the acft why turn off the transponder? Why not do it like Egypt Air it is not as if there is anyway for someone to prevent them from crashing it; therefore the next theory is that it was stolen for spare parts.

So this is a theory way out there, but I wonder what the possibilities of a repeat of FedEx 705 are? The FO could have been under review for what went on during a previous flight.

Possible. But if the FO was under review wouldn't that have come out by now?
By the way...I was reading earlier that the captains home was searched but not the FOs? Has anyone else read this? That's odd.
