Life at Compass

Hi, first post, I'm new to JC, but have read through the thread. I have an interview with CPZ in three weeks time. I'm very excited about the opportunity, currently flying the E175 at another regional. I was wondering if anyone has a decent gouge for the knowledge test? I'm reading through 'Everything Explained For The Professional Pilot', and I'm enjoying brushing up on a lot of things that I haven't read in a while. However, the study guide CPZ send out is very broad, so I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on where to really focus my studying?

I live in Chicago, so eventually I'd be hoping for an MSP or DTW base if I were successful at the interview. In the meantime, if I held a line in LAX, I'm sure life wouldn't be too bad? I already commute 2.5 hours each way at my current airline, so I'm sure I could handle a little extra. Are there many overnights in Chicago in the network? Would I ever see any out in LAX?

What is attrition like at CPZ away from the DAL flow? Do you have many leaving every month? Just trying to work out if the upgrade will be dependent on new aircraft deliveries alone, or whether attrition will really come into play after the last of the flows have left?

Finally, what is the deal with ZEDs? Do you have them? My current airline has a pretty good ZED program, and I use it to fly back to Europe every month to visit my family. Non-rev benefits and ZEDs are a pretty big deal to me.

Sorry for the long first post. Really excited about the future at CPZ and getting involved here at JC. Thanks!
