No... What you need to do is come up and join meJealous that the box is checked, yes. I need to transfer to the Guard.
I just finished everything explained and turbine pilot's manual...about to start mental math for pilots. My interview is July 8 so it's coming up soon...I'll be honest the technical test has me somewhat worried.I got the call back to interview, it's on July 29th. Looking forward to it!

Not sure how to best optimize studying efficiency - been reading over Everything Explained and Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators to prepare for the technical written test. I hear it's a huge question bank.

thanks...are you talking about the free DL supplement on shep? or the airline prep question bank you can buy? Will fly for food and Shepard air both have examples of the questions, yes the bank is huge, but you get an idea of what to expect.
Remember to ask for a pencil and paper (they forgot with my group til almost the end).
Bring food. There isn't much to eat and it's a long day.
You will feel like you failed multiple times. Don't quit no matter what.
thanks! That's the one I've been looking at. The cog seems pretty straight forward and very similar to tests i've had to take in the AF.This is the DL Sheppard thing that I used to get a feel for the types of questions.

Other than that, they should have emailed you a study guide that has topics to study. Just look at those topics and search them up in the other books like the Everything Explained book.
For the cognitive tests, make sure you understand each test before you do it. There's a practice before each cognitive test (except the mental math test) to make sure you understand it. I did the practice a second time on multiple tests just to make sure I understood it.
we seem to be the exact opposite....i'd prefer 90% math questions. I'll PM you after my interview....but the way i understand it is that there is a giant mqf and every test is different...so my test could have 5 math questions on it and yours could have 10.How complicated was the mental math section / how many questions were there. I've always felt I'm not as sharp as I should be when it comes to quick mental calculations - but seem to do well on the lumosity tests without math.
NoIf you are unsuccessful at the CPZ interview does that limit your chances of securing a DAL interview?
