Life at Compass

Just make sure you are wearing your Compass cap in public areas. That's all the rage on APC

My God the hat drama! Pilots get so worked up over nothing. Pilots get so worked up over nothing...I mean should we really be surprised when we are told we could face disciplinary action for being non compliant with company policy? A company policy that I KNOW has a horrible track record of being complied with?

SHOCKING

Just wear your hats...it's not that big of a deal.

Guys, just so everyone knows...it was a joke. You know, the fire destroyed the engine, but it's only dripping at 60 drops/minute. Good to go!

So if the leaks are less than the allotted drips/minute does it still ops check good?
Sure, within limits, the aircraft is airworthy. As far a leak limits go, most components have a hard limit of drops per minute either static or pressurized depending on the component. 100 drops per min, 60 drops per min etc. per the maintenance manual. Sometimes when chasing a leak you could run an engine or apply hydraulic pressure to try and pinpoint the source.

Does anyone have a better story on this? I will laugh if it were a brake pad smoking and not the result of a poor fuel pump or larger oil pool in the tailpipe.

Have you guys been getting the advanced/settlement payroll published emails lately? I don't recall seeing them in awhile.
