Oh I agree, it was entirely out of line for that guy to send an email to the entire pilot group.

But we've got a union committee to handle that kind of stuff, not pranks that would be more fitting for middle school, if in fact someone loaded his v-file with pens.

This is a professional job, not a locker room before a junior varsity practice.

Idk, I personally think its hilarious if someone did do that. It's a harmless joke. Yea, it's ridiculous that someone would steal his pen, but it's also ridiculous that you email the entire pilot group. People are getting bent all out of shape about the smallest things.
 
In other news, where are the gate announcements figures coming from? It's exclusively the gate agents right? If we can't trust them to file a proper delay report, then shouldn't we also have a means of reporting our announcements. I'm currently at 0% according to the last packet, which is completely wrong. I even wear my hat!

I still think it is a good sign. If this is the kind of stuff that's dominating the Compass message boards, then there can't be that many REAL problems to gripe about.

Even though this crap is petty and stupid, I still much prefer this than the constant "Where are the duty rigs?...Contract!...Jetblue or better!...Burn it to the ground" crap that was so prevalent at the last place.
