Life at Compass

I'd really like to see people stop hounding the company when they see that their training is not pre-awarded as they feel it should be. So what? The schedule comes out and when you don't have your required training, guess what...you get paid time off until they fix it. They're the incompetent ones. Let them deal with the repercussions.

I don't mind people hounding the company if that's what they want to do, but can we please...PLEASE...stop with all the damn reply all emails?
 
Does Compass use iPads for charts?
AQP training?

Would you say the training department is good? bad?

If you're, say, Seattle based, do you fly routes throughout the system? Fly to MSP for example and fly a few legs from there before ending up back at SEA?

Seattle based pilots- is living there affordable on first-year pay?
Is the SEA-FAI route really being discontinued?

For upgrade do you need 1000 Compass hours or does 121 time count?
Where do junior Captains end up?

  1. Yes we have iPads and we use Lido charts.
  2. Yes AQP.
  3. First airline can't really comment, but I liked it. Not a lot of hand holding...I guess.
  4. Yes, we have those trips.
  5. Yes, they're are some cheap areas of SEA. But you get what you pay for. Not MSP cheap (I've never lived in MSP so can't really comment).
  6. Yes at least for the summer, we may get it back for winter.
  7. 121 time.
  8. LAX, but you may get SEA.
 
I need to get the OAL list code for Compass & ID90.com, so far calls to the J/S chairman haven'r been returned.

Anyone CP P/M me please ?
