The #1 guy should be able to hand pick his pairings (adhering to legalities of course), then #2 should do the same with whatever is remaining, #3, #4, so on and so forth.
There shouldn't be any head scratching whatsoever. If I want pairing A, B, C, and D and they're all still available and constitute a legal line, than that is exactly what I should get.
Computers basically run the world, I refuse to believe that they can't build proper schedules for a group of pilots.

Yup. Suppose to work that way and does at my airline. In fact, ALPA pretty much runs PBS, given parameters by the company.
 
The upside is when somebody tells you something like that with a straight face, you can immediately discount anything and everything else they've said.
I was just hoping to get the official word from the call...

Nothing new.

From the DO:
  • Our performance is up, so thanks for that, but we still have a long way to go. We really ought to work on that D0 and A14.
  • Our ISM is up, so thanks for that, but we still have some work to do. You're required per the FOM to make 2 PAs: one before push, and one in cruise.
Pretty much sums up the flight ops part of the call. Nothing interesting to report from the other participants.
 
Anyone else locked out of Deltanet? I'm trying to log in and tells me, "You are required to change your password. Please contact your administrator"
I try and go to the password change page and it tells me that it's unavailable. Anyone else having issues?

had that but the password change thing worked for me...this was like 2 weeks ago

Are you doing it from your iPhone? Try a different browser other than safari or change your password on a real computer.
