That's cute that you think it could happen....it's all part of the game....Anyone on here still in class? I think we should get the 10k bonus also.
Apparently recruiting just found out about it.
I think we should try and get it if we are still in new hire class.

CPZ Pilots Contest New-Hire Bonus Plan
Compass Airlines is the latest fee-for-departure carrier to attempt to sweeten the pot for new hires, but the CPZ MEC is working to ensure that all its pilots get their fair share of any potential pay increases. Last week, Compass announced it plans to offer $10,000 bonuses to new-hire pilots. The CPZ MEC protested, contending that the unilateral action violates the Railway Labor Act and the pilot contract because the company has not negotiated terms of the bonuses with ALPA.
"We agree that Compass needs to do a better job of encouraging pilots to join our airline, but they are obligated to bargain with ALPA over this critical term of employment. They can't reward one group and ignore the others," said CPZ MEC Chairman Andrew Morris. The Minneapolis-based carrier has had difficulty finding enough pilots to keep up with attrition as it expands the fleet of ERJ-170s and -175s it flies for Delta and American Airlines.
