Life at Compass

I personally know Jeremy. He was my ACP when I was at YX. In the the world of suck that is YX he was a bright spot. A stand up guy who handled any issue I had with dignity and respect and no BS. When I called him to tell him I was resigning he actually CONGRATULATED me and said he didn't blame me for wanting to leave. Believe me when I tell you guys we could have done much, much worse.

Wait. What did I miss? Is Jeremy coming to CP? Has he already?

Is it me or is anyone else worried that management got to hand pick our new chief pilots from outside sources?
I was thinking that too. "New-hire employee has yet to tell his employer." Says MW. Hmmm.

Why not hire a guy/gal who's flown the line HERE at Compass? Unless nobody really applied for the job.

I think the pool of applicants at Compass is pretty dry... There's a lot of requirements those guys need to meet, and not many of ours meet them.

Y'all flew easy props.

Yeah, like props that have nose gears...unlike the actual challenging props, that require dancing on the rudders and an artist's touch on the yoke just to keep from wrecking between touchdown and the ramp. The ones that require serious attention to operation of both the pistons and props to keep from grenading them on the way up or down.

Yeah...not the easy stuff.
