The 45 is a significantly better than the legacy Lears in this respect (as in all other respects besides raw performance) but still not awesome.

One other pro tip, in turbulence make sure your feet are off the pedals before calling for yaw damp, if you are see-sawing the pedals and triggering the RUD BOOST at the same time the yaw damp tries to do something, it will kick off the yaw damp with a fault and you may have to reset one of the ICs to get your autopilot back.
