@Jordan793 - next time you’re in the area and need some suggestions on that side of the Shinjuku main station, shoot me a PM.

Will do but I don’t plan on being in Asia regularly.👎 We do some mx in China on the 76-400 but for the most part it’s Europe and SA. Just got lucky on a PCS run for this trip!

This is from a couple days ago earlier in the trip.

When you want some Yakiniku but don’t want to play your-guide or food-explainer… Solo style Yakiniku!

(Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo)

Choose what’s offensive for you. My egg white omelet or the salad substitution instead of nasty assesd chunk potatoes.

True Hashed browns or GTFO.

Wolfie's in Sarasota. A deli hash (corned beef, pastrami, And brisket) served on top of a latke. The little plate is an appetizer of mini Danish, though really they're more like stuffed croissants.

This restaurant has a chocolate cake which won a worldwide award at some point, but I'm trying to watch my sugar intake and I was also stuffed from the main.

What's the side on that crab cake? Mashed potatoes and gravy?
On the left mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw on the right, on top of the main plate. The place is Chick and Ruth in Annapolis, great diner with an awesome dessert selection too

I ain't hating, I just couldn't tell what it was.

Correct.

Go on.

Imagine enchiladas, but instead of roja or verde salsa, it’s this spicy smooth frijole sauce.

I had some filled with chorizo and over-easy eggs for breakfast after NGPA and it was just like “WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!” :)

Not hard to make either. Like standard Mexican food, it looks like hell but brother.. it’s heaven:
