Thanks! It might sound crazy to you, but ever since I was a young kid, I've only wanted to become two professions, pilot and Semi truck driver. Obviously I chose pilot, but I will be seriously disappointed if I never get a chance to drive one of those bad ass machines down the highway.

Yep! I've been at Mountain since March of last year.

Imagine was fun, but the pay and lack of benefits were a deal killer in the end.

Definitely. We finally got our CTP course up and running at FlightSafety in Houston. Now guys like me who don't have their ATP yet (even though I'm well above all ATP minimums) can satisfy the requirements to take the ATP knowledge test and then start ATR training.....without paying for it out of pocket at a place like ATP, or having to go to a crummy regional first.

I'll probably move to the ATR middle of next year or thereabouts.

I misread that for a moment and thought WestAir was now running ATRs.

All other considerations aside, flying caravans, with CASS privileges, makes for a rather nice gig.
