Hey when they just toss it towards home plate it's hard not to swing.
This. When you start getting used to 100+ credit, especially at Capt rates it's hard to stop playing the game.

BS. We never said that. On the contrary we ripped the cover off of a Comair contract, slid it across the table and said, "here! We want the jobs."
Not surprisingly, management declined. Why? Because the cost was never their objective. The whipsaw was.

We have PBS. Doesn't limit the amount of PP we have. It's more a function of the PBS rules.
Not to mention they withhold a ton of trips from PBS for OE so that doesn't help any.

Rules. They wanted to do the same thing here.
How does this work? You drop trips, and they end up in open time?I drop a lot of time.
I'm in my "working when I feel like it" phase.
If there's reserve coverage then yes. Or you get someone to pick up your trip from the swap board. How does this work? You drop trips, and they end up in open time?

i can also count on 3 fingers the number of months i've done over 60ish hours of credit. I'm a 2-3 3 days a month type of guy.I drop a lot of time.

sounds a lot like the skywest jumpseaters i've had.I'm sure a lot of people like me didn't bid the m88A because they didn't want to work every weekend and holiday. I have a spouse that works full-time M-F and a small child that I like spending time with.

That wouldn't work with me.
i thank the ones willing to work their asses off, it allows me to work as little as i want. It's all good.
PP is good and all, but in 17 years at SJI, I've never flown a greenslip. I bid days off, so that kinda defeats the purpose.
