JC Cyclists.

I made it to Whistler, B.C. this summer. Can't recommend it enough. If you can go, GO.

Any JCers heading out to the Hilly Hundred Weekend in a few weeks? I'll be there. In the back. Wheezing. Mostly because this year has been so jacked up that I have ridden half the amount that I rode last year.

Look for the pilot-wanna-be on a Scott CR-1.

I would looooove to be there! But alas, can't make it. I miss riding in southern Indiana, some of the best road riding I've ever done. Have fun and have a pint at Nick's for me!

I wish. With the schedule over the last year I don't get to ride much at all. I would however like to train for one of the 24 hours of booty rides next year.

24 hours of Moab is on my bucket list.

Along with 24 hours of booty.

And Leadville.

I guess that means I need to get off my butt and stop making excuses for not training for anything other than getting another beer from the fridge.

2x9 for now. I did get the SS dropouts but gonna run gears for now.

Too much climbing out here for my airline pilot fitness!

Dude I got DESTROYED on a climb by some dude on a full rigid single speed 29er out in Utah once. The guy passed me like I was standing still, and I mean I might as well have been with how steep the climb was.

Well the only other option is walking...

Hills. Man, I am so not looking forward to two weeks from now. WTF was I thinking. Hilly. Hundred. Near zero morning temperatures.

On the bright side, my wife's father, who I will be going with, said that this is one of the few bike rides you'll go on that you'll actually gain weight. Apparently the rest stops are glutton fests with terrific live music. It'll hurt, but it'll be a face-stuffing good time.
