How does slagging on certain freight companies pay equal jumpseat wars and psuedo-scab status? Apples/Oranges. How can some consider companies like GoJet scumbag operators because of their history but companies like Lakes and CommutAir paying their pilot's well below industry standard and dragging down the industry is A OK.

Seriously, just tell "your friend" to go ahead and go to work for GoJet. With "his" level of righteous self-justification "he'll" certainly be comfortable blaming others for any misfortune that arises from his decision, so I just don't see much down side for him.

If they're still considering GoJet, there's nothing we could have done.

Dude, I really thought you'd turned a corner. I guess not.

I'm bored though so I'll play along.

So, GoJet is different than Lakes or CommutAir because despite those places having low pay and terrible work rules they weren't created solely to undermine another pilot group. Sure, their rates may do that, but that is very different than places like GoJets, Freedom A (or Big Sky after Mesaba bought them) who's whole creation hinged on allowing a holding company to shuffle flying to another seniority list and bypass set pay rates already in place (or set to be negotiated due to CBA clauses).

But of course, you, err.. your friend, knows that and doesn't give a damn because as always it's about YOU (err... THEM) and it doesn't matter what the rest of the world thinks.

I had higher hopes for you mang.
 
So why does everyone think it's Huggies trying to get on with GoJet? Don't you guys know he just took a job at a reputable freight hauler in the mid-west? He's locked in with a 12 month contract*!


*That last part may or may not be true.

Yeah I don't really agree with about 80% of the stuff Huggies posts but I got the impression that he's diggin' the freight dawg life.

Guy tries to have a discussion and gets blasted for it, sounds pretty APC to me. I don't know how many times I gotta say it but how GoJet's was formed was an absolute travesty. I'm really struggling to grasp how a new hire has anything to do with the creation of a regional that happened years and years ago.

No, we've just been down this road a number of times, which is why I archived it in the "Hot Topics" section or whatever I got drunk that night and renamed it to.

Discuss what you want but the topic becomes like Dr. Seuss' "Green Eggs and Ham" but instead in the end, he still doesn't like either.

Would you GoJet in a tree?
Would you GoJet in the sea?
Would you GoJet in a pub?
Would you GoJet in a strip club?
Yadda Yadda Yadda...

Aye yi yi. Personally, I don't want the stigma or to be associated with that operation for my own professional integrity.
 
My personal goal in life is to get my medical back, get the required minimums, and get on with GoJet. I'll even make my avatar a GoJet avatar and start threads about how awesome it is. Bitches.
