Furlough tracking

No date set yet, I imagine they'll continue to do around 50 a month though. They will have to run some classes to train the senior ERJ guys onto the CRJ and that is a bottleneck.

Comair Mgmt. has reached a decision to recall an additional 48 pilots yesterday, this is in addition to the 100 recall letters send out at the beginning of June. Most junior getting recalled is a DOH 7/30/2007. Approx. Furloughs remaining after this recall 139.

Zero furloughs remaining at Atlantic Southeast (ASA).

Company moved quickly to return everyone after round one of 40 pilots, accepting 44 pilots on round two (when they advertised for 33), and are sending out final notices to those remaining on furlough status and all those who bypassed the previous two rounds.

Yeah, I accepted recall...

90% I'll go right on military leave and attend training next spring (April'ish) when I come off of the LOA, which then I'm hoping that the company is hiring and I can slide into a new hire class and enjoy some 2 in the afternoon sim slots instead of midnight sims.

10% opportunity to get out of this set of orders to attend training in early August to get back on military leave in the middle of September, staying away from the company until the Spring.

Good news. Hopefully you guys won't get a punch in the stomach - re: merger/aqcuisition news. Not too many of us recently recalled guys at ASA are too excited about the stormy waters.
