The fact they called the regional “PSA Airlines” always pissed me off. Pacific Southwest Airlines Airlines? Are they going to go make a withdrawal from the ATM machine with their PIN number?Yea they kept the rights to it. Ask me how I know...

Western, Pan Am (FRA), Northwest (NRT)....Well buy an airline with a particular route network, maintain the route network for a period of time then yank all the assets into exsiting pre-acquisition routes.
Meh I'm sure they are doing both. For this industry to survive there will need to be consolidation. But what do i know, I'm not even a commercial pilot.Have you figured out yet, that the airlines will be lucky to exist, and we'll all be lucky to have jobs in 12 months?
I'd love to be positive about this, but there ain't much positive happening in this industry right now. The idea of moving in on another airline's turf isn't even on the radar of any airline right now, keeping the lights on is.
Agree. Why wouldn’t they?Meh I'm sure they are doing both. For this industry to survive there will need to be consolidation. But what do i know, I'm not even a commercial pilot.

Memphis?Amended your reply.
Memphis?
Kinda like Federal Express Express? The fact they called the regional “PSA Airlines” always pissed me off. Pacific Southwest Airlines Airlines? Are they going to go make a withdrawal from the ATM machine with their PIN number?
Memphis only has spokes to Deltas other hubs. ItsDelta kept a major portion of NWA’s network so I wouldn’t really draw the comparison out that far. Memphis just didn’t make sense to keep with ATL, MSP, and what I hear at the time was a promising market, CVG.

completely dismantled.
Only Memphis?Yes. We agree. What I’m saying is Delta didn’t merge with NWA and then sack it’s entire network like the Western and Airways examples. It was only Memphis and even that took 5 or so years.

For us anti-socialist media types, that don't have twitter, could you paraphrase. The tweet is unavailable.

Furloughs will be lower if people act right.View attachment 52998
Ok?MSP, DTW, and SEA seemed to be packed with Delta flights at least until COVID hit.
