Correct.

Only the last decade but I grew up near Ann Arbor. I miss the good food, ridiculous city ordinances, and referring to it as “50 square miles surrounded by reality”. The UP is a nice place to have a summer retirement home/camp at. Less chance of getting COVID, friendly people, no traffic, and great outdoor rec opportunities.
Because they can and it’s none of your damned business.
And the lawmakers in the legislature sided with the protestors. Guess they did a good job, huh?
Yes, you’re right of course. When the colonists were unhappy, they just calmly explained their position and picketed rather than doing something intimidating like throwing tea overboard.
Wow! What kind of world are we living in where @jtrain609 is considered a troll on JC? This whole situation really has some folks on edge.As opposed to being a “troll?”

I watched his explanation yesterday via live stream, so glad that I sold those stocks on the April high.Coming back to this topic from earlier in the thread, unfortunately it seems this was wishful thinking. Warren Buffett announced yesterday that he has sold his entire stake in all 4 airlines and has exited the industry. He was one of, if not the, single largest shareholders in each of the big 4.
Warren Buffett says Berkshire sold all its airline stocks because of the coronavirus
Buffett said Berkshire sold its entire stake in United, American, Southwest and Delta Airlines, worth more than $4 billion on December 31.www.cnbc.com
Oh I’m definitely a troll whilst in the UP ( not born or raised up here ) and generally when I post on JC.
Are we talking about furloughs or people who play dress up with guns?

True description. Why do you find it amazing that they are exploiting their inherent rights? They are just at the end of the spectrum. Not much we can do about it. Just a different flavor of a legal hooligan.
So it was other people’s business and the purpose was to intimidate. Thank you for the clarification.
I think the point that @Derg is trying to get at, is that if this was Black Lives Matters, or someone dressed like Mujahideen, then they would have been shot on sight.

Hell man, do you know how people look at me when I wear a mask into a store? They think they’re getting robbed sometimes. That’s just special. Now imagine if I had an AR-15. That’s my world.
Imagine if you were wearing a red or blue rag as a mask while carrying that AR...I went with a neutral color for just that reason...

@Dergdonesn't have to be wearing gang colors and carrying an AR to be gunned down.
He or I could just be jogging through a neighborhood and "minding our own damned business" and be gunned down.
Black man running through Brunswick neighborhood shot, killed
No one disputes that the son of a former Brunswick District Attorney’s Office investigator shot and killed Ahmaud Arbery, but he was not charged because he claimed he was acting within the scope of a citizen’s arrest.www.news4jax.com
