Furlough Estimates

Just saw a thing that CommutAir is hiring
Need an ATP, prior 145 time and being in Aviate is preferred. Eh, those will be joyful flights up front.

What're you talking about? They were gonna do your whole training PPL-CFI/MEI in a King Air. A KING AIR!!!

I know you’re not disrespectin’ the King Air—in any form. 95% of the SJS cherubs couldn’t hang.

Show up as a wet-behind-the-ears FO with hair gel, backpack, and earbuds, the PIC would pour hot coffee over your head, kick you in the crotch, and direct you to pull your head outta your ass and brief the pax.

/A, Baby!

Naw, the King Air has always been my favorite twin turboprop since Jurassic Park III. I LOVE that plane and would love to get a job flying one.

Well Frontier has a Displacement bid out...as of now furloughing 504 pilots as of oct 1....

union is working on early outs and other measures to mitigate and no one knows why they are furloughing this much. Goes back to March 2018
Hire

That's an impressive amount of hiring they've down over the last year or two... 1/3 of their pilots?

That same % (roughly 33%) at my airline would go back to late 2013.

It's a trap!

Maybe? Wouldn't be the first time that half the office in Denver didn't talk to the other half and some sort of mega-dumb occurred.

I know there are going to be some affected pilots on this board (I mean I'm one of them, I'll be losing my CA seat, but whatever). Anything I can do to help, I will be happy to help.
