Hey I have a question, the people who have gotten emails did you get a well qualified score on the AT-SAT or a qualified? Im curious to see if they only picked the well qualified only?

One guy earlier said he got an email for WV I think and he scored a 72.

FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT HEARD YET......

i just spoke with someone and they said that the goal is to get all the emails out by 5pm central time. she said that if we dont hear by 5cst then we were not selected. i hope shes wrong, but she said she was positive.

(yes this is a double post.)

I've been waiting over a year, how do you think I feel?!?!

hint: kind of like how the last kid picked for dodgeball feels

yeah i definitely feel bad for you. that sucks to be waiting that long. i dont know why someone with a 72 score got an email, and i didnt. i got a 96. i know there are still a few hours left, but i just want it so i can stop worring.

The way I look at it is at least we will know by today, I wish they would just say yes or no, I cant stand this waiting around and speculation. I spoke to OKC about it today and they said until July 1 but if this is a reliable source than I trust you but who knows anymore.

Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in a terminal facility in the state of Missouri.

I scored a 96.

Missouri was my first choice and I'm hoping to be in KC.

are people getting a PEPC invite with this email? or does that come later?

The email asks you to request a date range/location for your PEPC.

Here is the email:

Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in a terminal facility in the state of North Carolina.

We are scheduling ATCS Pre-Employment Processing Centers (PEPCs) over the next few months in several locations. PEPCs are a new expedited method of processing and will include your interview, a security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation, and drug test. In addition, if you are tentatively selected, you will receive a Tentative Offer Letter providing specific information on your facility assignment, salary, etc. All of these activities will take place during one day. This is an all-day event.

PEPCs are planned for the following cities during the weeks indicated.

·July 7 – July 11 New York City, NY
·July 21 – July 25 Memphis, TN
·August 11 – August 15 Chicago, IL

No specific locations have been identified and the dates could change slightly, depending on demand and facility availability.

We cannot process everyone at the PEPCs that we are contacting. We will put you on a waiting list, in the order responses are received, and keep you informed of details as they become available. We will accept only as many people as we can accommodate for each PEPC. Others will be processed in the “non-PEPC process” (see below). We will give you feedback on your individual situation.

You are being contacted even if the address we have is not near one of the PEPC locations since you may have relocated. If you do not live near one of the scheduled PEPCs, you are welcome to travel to one if that is what you would like to do. However, all travel costs incurred will be at your own expense.

You may elect to continue with the non-PEPC process. If so, we will schedule you to interview at a location near where you live. If you successfully complete the interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.

Please be advised that this may or may not be faster than waiting until a PEPC is scheduled near you. Also, employment offers are made based on available class schedules. Classes are normally filled several months in advance. Once you have completed your pre-employment processing, either through the PEPC or the non-PEPC process, you will be considered for available classes. Some of you may report straight to your assigned facility when formal classes are not required.

This is what you need to do:

1.Respond to this email and let us know if you are still interested in the position identified in the first paragraph.
2.Tell us if you would like to attend one of the PEPCs and, if so, which one. Please choose only one.
3.OR, tell us you would like to be interviewed near your home.
4.Check the contact information listed above (address, phone number, email address) and provide any corrections.

Once you respond, we will either schedule you for an interview near your home or put you on our waiting list to be advised when the PEPC you identify is ready to schedule appointments. At that time, you will receive detailed information and forms to complete prior to your arrival. We will also communicate any updates as necessary.

Remember, the earlier you respond to this message, the better opportunity you will have to attend a PEPC. Please respond by email no later than June 27, 2008.

oh wow, thanks

looks like some of us will have to travel halfway around the country for one of these PEPCs

I'd be interested if anyone has been selected for any Ohio or North Carolina facilities...thanks

I've posted this twice in this very thread.

Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in a terminal facility in the state of North Carolina.

Well I just got my email and I'm pretty sure they don't factor where you live based on your choices as I previously saw somebody say.

First choice was ATL center

Second was Tower anywhere near my county in FL.

They gave me Center in Memphis TN.

So what can I do to stay in the game but not go to Memphis? Anything?

Badpassportphoto,

I actually live in memphis and am gunning for an enroute position here. I got a PEPC invitation and hopefully will get scheduled for one, depending on what I'm offered (providing all goes well), perhaps a trade can be done.

This might not be possible, but I've seen people on here trying to network the same deal to get what they want. Anybody know if this is a possibility? :bandit:
