Free in-house Delta Pilot Job Fair

You might be closer than you think. I was surprised to see that all I'm lacking is about 700 hrs fixed wing turbine time.

I haven't checked, but being shy of 2000 hours TT, I'm not holding my breath for any entity other than a regional to hire me. Heck, I still need to apply. LOL

Check the minima. Of course qualified does not necessarily equal competitive, but this is a brave new world and wholly different than 2008.

If I were even remotely qualified, I would be on this like a hawk. Thanks for posting. I hope that DAL will still hold recruitment events of this ilk when I am.

The Delta Recruitment video stated that, they hired 1300 pilots this year. And that for the next 10-15 years, they will continue to do so at that level. You'll get your chance.

So if they hired 1300 this year but projected retirements were below 300 as they will be next year, was the rest for growth? I wonder if the hiring numbers will jump when retirements start exceeding 700/year...

You have no idea how many "I applied two years ago, why haven't they called?" my friend hears.

And then you look at a PDF copy of the application and it's an absolute hot mess and unreadable.

Or their recommendations are just a bunch of other new hire pilots, who generally shotgun those things out in their first month online because of their newfound popularity at their previous carrier.

Then you might say, "Hey, I can review your resume, lemme see" then "WOW! Where to start. You do know this is supposed to be a brochure for who you really are, yes?"

My friend tells me a lot of stories like this.
to be fair, i'm a noob and i'm 3/3 on my emails getting invites

Yup, the rest was for mainline growth

No idea. But I had to select three different time slots before I got one that didn't say "Sold out."

I've been trying to register for the last 5 minutes and apparently they're all gone.

EDIT: It's showing several afternoon time slots available but when you click on it to register they are all gone.
