Frank Borman the Apollo 8 commander passed away yesterday. He settled on a ranch east of Billings that you could see from I-94 and frequented the local EAA chapter up there. My father-in-law met him a few times at those and said he was really nice.
He also was CEO of Eastern and one of the Franks. Maybe he should have stuck with astronauting but that’s a different story.
